Wireless Internet

Casa de Elijah has wireless internet throughout the condominium.   The network name is Casa de Elijah and the password is 601AguaMarina.

To use the buildings internet service while in the lobby or on the rooftop, the network password is AB149262 and the network is  AQUILES_SERDAN_194_5G.

Air Conditioning and Heating            

There are separate air conditioning units in both bedrooms and in the living room/kitchen.  A thermostat for each unit is mounted on the walls of each bedroom and in the main entrance hall for the great room.  To operate, press the ON button (circle at top of device).  Press MODE to switch between Heat, Air Conditioning and Auto.  When set to Auto, it will show Auto on the screen, when set to Air Conditioning, a snowflake will appear on the screen.  Use the up and down arrows to set the desired temperature.  The display is in Celsius (22 C = 72 F).  Using the ceiling fans helps to keep the spaces cool.  Electricity in Mexico is very expensive, please be thoughtful about running the AC at very low temperatures for extended periods of time.

Ceiling Fans

There are ceiling fans in both bedrooms and the great room.  Remotes are mounted in each bedroom and in the entrance hall.  For the Master bedroom and the great room, you need to turn on the wall switch to activate the power for the fans.  These switches are marked.  After they are on, the fans are controlled through the remotes.  For the guest bedroom, the remote works directly with the fan.  If you cycle through the light switch on the remote (press numerous times) it will change the color of the light of the fan or turn it off completely if so desired.

Washer and Dryer

If you use the stacked washer and dryer, the controls for the washer (lavadora) are on the left of the machine and for the dryer (secadora) on the right.  Please do not overload either machine.  Please do not close the door to the laundry closet when the dryer is running.  This causes the closet to have too much humidity and greatly slows down the drying process.  Likewise, please make sure the lint tray is empty before running the dryer.

Also, please do not run the dishwasher and dryer at the same time.  This can cause the circuit breaker to trip.  If this happens please let staff at the front desk in the lobby know and also contact Jesus from Franco & Associates.

Safe

A small safe is located in the upper closet (closest to window) of the master bedroom with instructions on how to use it.  

Toiletries, Hair Dryer, Iron and Ironing Pad, Laundry Hampers

Both bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash and there is a hair dryer available in the master bathroom.  Please use the black washcloths in both bathrooms to remove makeup.

An iron and ironing pad can be found in the closet of the guest bedroom, and laundry hampers are available in each bedroom closet.

Towels

Beach towels are provided in each bedroom.  Bath towels and extra towels are provided in each bathroom.

Drying Rack

There is a drying rack hanging in the laundry closet if you would like to use it.

Closets

The upper closets and all of the drawers are available for guests in the master bedroom.  The full closet and drawers in the queen bed and side tables are available for use in the guest bedroom.  There are some drawers/doors the have locks and are for owner use only.

Inflatable Mattresses

There are two inflatable mattresses available for use if needed.   A queen size mattress is on the upper shelf of the hanging closet in the master bedroom and a twin size mattress is available on upper shelf of the guest room closet.  You will find the appropriate mattress pads, sheets and covers with each mattress. 

Balcony

Please be careful when using the balcony and do not leave children unattended on the balcony.  Never lean or climb on the balcony railings or partitions.

The balcony has two lights attached to the walls next to the sliding doors if you would like more diffuse lighting.  They are operated using the switches on the cords.

There is also a shade on the mountain side to reduce direct sunlight on the balcony if desired.  The shade is raised and lowered manually with the attached rod and needs to be hooked at the bottom when lowered.  Please always remember to raise the shade if not needed.

HOW TO......

Trash Removal - Please leave garbage and recyclables in the trash bins located across from the elevator in the lobby.

Interior Shades - The large windows in the guest bedroom and the living room have both light blocking and light diffusing shades.  These are operated manually using the white chains on the sides of the windows.

Black-out Shades - The large glass doors to the balcony have automated black out shades.  They are operated with the remote located on the wall next to the TV.  

Televisions - All three TVs are smart TVs.  Please sign in to any streaming service you have.
